Ax-Throwing is Apparently a Thing, Are You Ready?

Competitive ax-throwing is starting to make its way to the U.S. in a place that is outside of Renaissance fairs.  Leagues and indoor facilities are starting to draw crowds for a game that is won based on points just like darts. Players pick out an ax or hatchet and launch it towards a bulls eye target that is roughly 12 feet away.  According to USA Today  most indoor throwing lanes are divided with chain-link fence to protect throwers in nearby alleys.

If this seems like something that you want to do, in Seattle Axe Kickers allows Walk in's and Groups! (I know I am trying to plan a night to go!)

According to The Axe Kickers website, they are open Tue-Sun 11am-11pm and are located at

10843 1st Ave South Seattle WA 98168
