Sarah's Beer of the Week 05.23.19

Ahhh beer and baseball. Nothing beats a cold beer and the MLB. Thankfully we no longer live in a time where ballpark beer is just the big three; Miller, Bud and Coors. So why will you a see a picture of me drinking Miller in this post? Because I was in Milwaukee at Miller Park! The Milwaukee Brewers. I had a Miller Lite and a Miller High Life.  While there I also sampled two local brews, recommended by our old KZOK pal Gibbons. One is New Glarus Spotted Cow. This is one strange brew. Fruit, and some funk and yet refreshing. Not very 'beery'. Turns out it's cask conditioned, so the carbonation is low. And a farmhouse. Very unusual, and while I didn't love it...I didn't hate it either. I also had a Third Space Brewing Happy Place Pale Ale. Delicious. Just straight up good Pale, right in my wheel house.

They are also into Bloody Mary's in MKE and at the ballpark you can buy fancy bloodies everywhere. The ballpark was outstanding. Such a great city, and a loyal fan base. Super cool to visit. While it wasn't my favorite beer city, I loved it and the trip was great!
