A family in Jackson Hole, Wyoming saw a bear cub without its mother in their backyard foraging for food. So they did what most people would do, they called the Fish and Game people who came out and said the cub probably wouldn’t make it through the winter on its own. By then the poor cub had climbed a tree, so they shot it with a tranquilizer gun and stood underneath with a safety tarp to catch it.
