 Howdy folks,
I'm Jerry and I'm from Michigan. If you look at your right palm, I'm from right... oh, never mind. (Good thing I'm not from Florida!).
Anyway, I'm quite new to the KZOK listening audience. While driving to a client site one morning before Christmas, a local radio station played Bob's Jimmi Hendrix Twisted Christmas Tune ("HOLIDAZE") and I went absolutely nuts over it. As soon as I got to the office, I started combing the Internet for the source of that song and, fortunately for me, I found bobrivers.com.
I started listening to Bob's Twisted Tunes library, got hooked, and emailed the link to just about everyone I know. I even sent the links to many of my favorite Twisted Christmas Tunes to friends and associates as Christmas treats, just for fun. After a couple of weeks, I clicked the "Listen Live" button during one of Bob's broadcasts and liked what I heard.
I'm an independent technical writer and work both at client sites and from the bat cave at home at all times of the day and night. I always listen to music while I'm working, so I also listen to several of the other KZOK shows, as well. (In case you're not sure what a tech writer does... well, have you ever walked into a business office and opened one of those huge white 3-ring computer binders and wonder, "Who writes this stuff?" ... IT'S ME!)
At any rate, I enjoy listening to KZOK and and it's fun learning a little bit about Washington State and the folks out there. And, oh by the way, you ARE one of the best rock 'n roll stations in the country.
