 Hi, I'm Sharon from Marysville, WA
What else would you want to listen to when you're cruising down the road on your Harley? Or, well, actually, after dropping off the kids at school in the morning! Sometimes I can't wait for them to get out of the car so I can tune in to the Bob Rivers Show! Found myself this morning, sitting in the driveway listening to the rest of an interview (work can wait!).
My eight year old son is always scanning through the stations, looking for "Real Rock, Mom", and inevitably ends up on KZOK. We get a real kick watching him rock out in the backseat! I'm sure he must have it in his genes (Loves Led Zeppelin & Elvis - that must be genes from the last generation!). The kids think it's especially funny that Mom actually knows the songs! Well, you just have to be a cool Mom! Although the 11 year old daughter has the opinion that the leather top in above photo is "inappropriate" and I hear things like, "Mom, you're not really going to wear that, are you?". Times, they are a changin'! If she only knew what my teenage years were like (thus 25 yrs clean & sober this year)! But, she won't get the chance to do all those things (not if I can help it!!).
KZOK keeps me young, helps me remember the good times, helps me lay down new memories over the soundtracks from the bad times, 'cause all you've really got it today...(mostly 'cause I can't remember a whole lotta yesterday! Thank goodness for Flashbacks - without that I'd have no memory at all!!!).
