GOOD AFTERNOON SEATTLE!!!

It's always SOOO good to be listening to KZOK.  I'm a native Washintonian, but have the unfortunate circumstance of being temporarily relocated, against my better judgement I'll add :-), to the smallest "big" town in the west, Reno, NV.

So when I get the opportunity to listen to KZOK over the internet I feel like I not only am home, I feel like I am in heaven.  Sure they have a couple of "classic rock" radio stations here in Reno, but fo the most part they have a limited play list.  It's for sure that they have never seen a list of their listeners top 1000 l classic rock songs. 

My favorite KZOK memory would have to be just about any of the Bob Rivers show.  There are several things about Bob's show that I always looked forward to.  Bob always has the best guest list.  He brings in some of the top personalities from around the country, and not just from entertainment.  Bob, Do you really know everyone?  Is is it just that Arik has great contacts?  Then again, I remember when Bob, Spike and Joe decided to set Arik up on 30 dates in 30 days.  The reviews were something to listen to.  hmmmm ;-)  And of course, it wouldn't be Christmas without a review of the Twisted Tuned by Bob and his crew. 

These are some of my favorite memories and most certainly some of he things I miss about being able to listen to KZOK on a daily basis.  Boy, I can't wait for the day when I return to Washington!

Thanks for the great music, thanks for your great staff.  You have been the best for so many years and now I really know why. :-)
