 My Name Is Jeff Skaar I am 27 years old and a HUGE Led Zeppelin fan. I listen to Lunch With Led pretty every Saturday at Noon. I listen to KZOK because I just love the music you guys play and it makes me feel good. I am originally from Mountlake Terrace but I moved to Everett about 6 years ago and I have been listening to KZOK for about 14 years now.
Some of my first memories of listening to KZOK is driving around with my dad and listening to Steve Slaton and the other personalities of that day and I just remember thinking "hey this is some pretty good music", it sure beat the music my generation was listening to at the time which was mainly pop music, so I started listening every chance I got and I told my friends about it and they liked it too. Back before it went out of business I would switch between you guys and KXRX (Where I believe Gary Crow was a DJ for while) when each station was on commercials.
I think that you guys are doing a great job and I love to listen to you every chance that I can get. My three favorite personalities on the air right now are Gary Crow, Steve Slaton and Stacy Ireland. I love the noon diner and I love listening to Steve Slaton because I can learn so much about the history of rock from him and most of my knowledge of classic rock has come from listening to him. So keep up the good work guys and ROCK ON!!!!!!
