Rockfish, yet another in a long line of Seattle radio veterans who’d rather work part-time in the Pacific Northwest than full-time anywhere else on the planet. Like many of his peers Rockfish started his career at the once great KISW and after dying in Dallas, divorcing in Denver, being bored in Bellingham and aggravated in Anchorage, Rockfish has come back home to carry the sword for classic rock at the “one and only classic rock station”, KZOK. A former musician, Rockfish can be heard singing lead as well as background on many of Bob Rivers “Twisted Tunes” and now that he’s got a keycard and access to Bob’s home phone number again, he hopes to be back recording with the gang soon. Rockfish loves sports, except the NBA. He loves camping, as long as the mosquitoes aren’t biting. He only has to spend :30 seconds on his hair every morning. He listens to all kinds of music, but likes rock-n-roll the most and says his best radio partner has always been his wife to whom he gives partial credit for two of his greatest achievements, his 6 and 4 year old sons. Finally, Rockfish lives by a credo that he would like to share with all visitors to the KZOK website: “If you can’t say something nice about a stranger, then don't take their candy”. No wait, that’s not it. |
