 I am a constant KZOK listener, and really can't remember when we didn't listen to your station. I am a very young 57 yr old grandmother(very proud ofcourse.) So people are kind of surprised when they find out that I am a rock and roller and listen to mostly the good old music like you always have on your station. You guys are so funny sometimes, that when I am in the car I bust out laughing and get alot of strange looks. You play great music. I love your free concert contests and 3 at 3, although I have never won, one time I tried and was number 7 then kept trying and was number 3. That was the closet I got but it is fun. I love AC/DC and have a good friend that does too so I think the most fun I have is when sometimes you play them I will call him and let it play on his recorder, no message just the song and he just laughs cause he's listening too. But you are always fun. Due to some health issues I am home most of the time in North Bend and I have to do exercises and you really get me motivated with the best music. Plus the best part is that I have the worst voice, can't carry a note if my life depended on it but I sing my heart out with KZOK. And no one is the wiser.
Mainly I am just writing this to thank you, I really rock out when its time to clean house and boy that just speeds it up and it is done in no time. I love that you play U-2 and Seegar, Eric, Cream, Santana, Janis and all the best. It brings back so many good memories when my hubby and I were going together and got married (38 yrs o marriage and 40 yrs together) and we raised our sons on your station. They have great taste in music because of it. Anyway I wanted to thank you for being a great station. Truthfully I don't care if I am on the web site it is just important to let you know you do a great job and keep it up please because I plan to be around for along time, and I don't think I am going to ever not be a rock n roller even at 100. So you better plan on being around for along time.
Bob Rivers I may be wrong but didn't you live in North Bend for awhile? If you did do you Remember Frankies Pizza, Thats my sons place. Anyway thank you so much for REAL ROCK AND ROLL and playing some good old blues too. I love that. |
