 Hey KZOK!
I love you all because you keep me sane by playing my favorite Pink Floyd, among other awesome old-school rock. Some think I’m “too young” to love the genre of music you play, however I grew up listening to it all as my older sister is 10 years older than me. Regardless, it is the best-of-the-best that you play that makes me able to deal with the stresses of everyday life. Also, my dad and I had a Pink Floyd bond and now that he has passed away I know I can turn on KZOK and find a Floyd tune playing. This brings a smile to my face and a joy to my heart.
If I am ever in the need to chill and zone-out in my own world (i.e. On my way to-and-from work) I know I can tune the dial to 102.5 fm and find just the tune I am looking for to fit the mood I am in. I always listen to the Noon Diner as I get ready for work. I work as a registered nurse in a busy ER and look forward to my relaxing drive home every night listening to my KZOK while I unwind.
Being from Eastern Washington, I am thankful to have found a radio station that “rubs me the right way”!
You will forever be a part of my summer BBQ’s, get-togethers, and daily drives.
