 Dear KZOK,
My name is Michelle Riley. I am 43 years old and share my home with my husband , Curtis two sons, Kenneth and Jonathan and 3 ungrateful canines. My family and I recently moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. To tell the truth, earlier in my life, KZOK radio station was not my favorite. I gravitated more to easy listening top 40, "pop" stuff. I found KZOK, specifically the morning show with Bob, Spike, and Joe in more recent years. one of my best memories involving KZOK was taking my sons to the orthodontist. we lived in the town of Issaquah but their orthodontist was in Bothell so it involved a long car ride in the morning about once a month or so. we would listen to KZOK going and coming and frequently laugh our heads off at something they said or did. it was really a treat each month to make this car ride with my sons and listen to something that we could all enjoy. I frequently tell friends that I have the sense of humor of a 17 year old boy so this morning show really appealed to that side of me. Now that I live in Colorado, I was so thrilled to find that each day I can hear the station on my computer. In fact, as I sit here typing this, "Stairway to Heaven" is playing through my speakers. I so enjoy hearing about what is happening in the Seattle area ( even traffic, weather etc). It helps to make me a tiny less homesick; almost like a visit with people I know well each morning.
