I grew up in Washington. I went to high school in Olympia, and moved to Seattle directly after. One of the main reasons that I wanted to get into radio was because of the 4 or 5 hour workdays. Was there ever any other choice?! The craziest thing that happened to me on the air, was the time that I locked myself out of the studio (my 2nd day at KZOK). I had no phone numbers handy to call for help! I would have to say that the people, the staff, the listeners and the music are the best things about working for KZOK. Other stations that I have worked for include; KISW (Seattle), BRAIKER Radio (Satellite, Seattle), KBBK (Idaho), KSEA (Idaho), KWJZ (Seattle). My favorite band is The Beatles. I've gotta be John Lennon's biggest fan! If I weren't working in radio, I would probably be a TV anchor or a pro-football coach. Being a mother of 3 boys has given me insights into the latter career. However, Seattle radio has been a big part of my life. I've been here 24 years and counting.
